Cameron came on board with The Cox team in October 2002 coordinating and creating The Cox Team’s marketing and advertising material. With a background in telecommunication sales as well as documentary television production and film, Cameron brought fresh artistic energy to the team.
Cameron grew up in Danville and graduated from San Ramon High School in 1990. In 1993, he left the Bay Area to attend UCLA, where he would earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. After graduating from UCLA, he went on to a career in telecommunications, working as an account executive for Nextel Communications. In 1999, he left Nextel to begin working in the television and film industry.
Cameron began with the production side of television and documentaries (MSNBC and The Travel Channel) and ended up as a titles producer for major motion pictures. While he enjoyed the creative aspects and excitement of TV and film production, he was restless. The smog, traffic and overabundance of actors in Los Angeles were an unavoidable recipe for homesickness. Cameron missed his family and the green hills of the San Ramon Valley. In the summer of 2002, Cameron moved back to the East Bay area to be closer to his new niece and nephew and begin a career in photography.
Over the past 8 years, Cameron has been dedicated to photography and design work. His love for the arts as well as his background in film made his transition to architectural photography a smooth one. His work can be seen in The Cox Team custom brochures, postcards, newspaper and magazine ads and here on the Cox Team Website.
